Happy Spaniel!

I was asked to do a lovely commission recently of one of my favourite dogs - the Springer Spaniel. I grew up with two spaniels and am extremely fond of them. The dog I was asked to draw is called Lily, sadly she's not very well at the moment, but the photo I worked from was full of joy so I really tried to capture that. The picture was a gift for her owner who was celebrating her 50th Birthday, so quite a special event all around. I've called the image Happy Spaniel.
